Afgelopen week bezocht ik een hele leuke locatie in mijn eigen provincie. Het kunst- en verzamelhuis in Wijlre, Zuid-Limburg. Het is een museum dat bestaat uit levensecht ingerichte kamers. De wekkers lopen, een flesje bier staat op tafel en de sloffen staan naast het bed. Een groot poppenhuis waarin je echt terug in de tijd bent.
100 jaar geschiedenis verzameld in spullen. Kunstenares Tineke is de eigenaresse van dit leuke initiatief. Ze woonde samen met een verzamelaar en twee maal moesten ze al verhuizen om al die spullen van vroeger een plek te geven. Daarna besloten ze er een museum van te maken, zodat iedereen er van kan genieten.
En genieten is het zeker! Ik was met een vriendin van vroeger, dus we herkenden dingen uit ons ouderlijk huis. "Die klok stond bij jullie in de kamer" en "in de waspoederbox bewaarden wij het speelgoed". Jaja, we worden oud, haha!
Elke kamer heeft een eigen thema. En in de hal schalt een oude platenspeler die je helemaal in sfeer brengt.
Op het einde is er nog een serre waar de kunstenares de items die ze dubbel heeft verkoopt.
